Sky have announced major changes in the Sky equipment that they are now selling.  The main change is that Sky+ is no longer available for sale either for new customers or for upgrading existing customers.
 
To cover this they have now allowed the sale of Sky HD Receivers at a reduced offer price for those customers who do not wish to subscribe to the HD Channels Pack at the additional monthly costs.  This in effect makes the HD Receiver similar to the old Sky+ but means that the HD receiver is already enabling the customer to upgrade to HD Channels with ease.
 
Any New customers, must order a Sky HD receiver (with or without HD Channels), the standard Sky Receiver is now only available as a second box for multiroom installations.  
Sky multiroom gives you access to all yor channels in another room for an extra £10 a month.
 
Sky Player is Sky's online player which lets you watch  24 channels online anywhere so you never have to miss your favorite programme.
 
Sky Anytime comes as standard with all Sky+ and Sky+ HD boxes giving you a selection of programmes which are updated every week and ready to watch when you want.
